The Southwest Blues Heritage Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c) 3, corporate organization founded in 2001, for the purpose of supporting and
promoting blues musicians and their music (all-volunteer, without
compensation)
The primary goals of this organization are to
help educate musicians so that they may further their careers, provide financial relief
for blues musicians and their families in times of need and to preserve, promote and perpetuate blues music
for the Southwestern Region of the U.S.A.
For example, since it's inception, the foundation has assisted Joe Jonas, Lady Lotion and
numerous other blues musicians, as well as medical costs and funeral
expenses for Sam Myers and East Texas
blues man Henry Qualls.

The deadline to submit material for radio advertising on KNON 89.3FM will be
30 days prior to the event and for print media 20 days prior to the event.
